Like painting, music is an art. To me, music is a remedy for the
soul. I invite you to join me in my journey as an artist and as
a musician. Together we will enjoy the sound of music I am
bringing to you. Open your heart to receive the sound of world
music through the different cultures I have been exposed to in
my life. My wish is to see my music touch as many people as
possible regardless of their natural origin.
Francis Ndoumbe
Cameroon has produced some of Africa's most innovative artists,
from the influential saxophonist Manu Dibango (whose 1970's
smash "soul makossa" became the first African song to reach the
U.S. top 40) to Les Tetes Brules hyped up bikutsi rhythms( with
a punk rock attitude) to the sweet voice of singer/songwriter
Henry Dikongue. Anew name must be added to the growing list.
